Operational Metadata

Definition:

Contains information that is available in operational systems and run-time environments from the perspective of the process execution.

Commentary:

Operational metadata includes, but is not limited to:
– data file size
– date and time of last load, updates, and backups
– names of and information about operational procedures and scripts
– run-time statistics
